As a Controller, you will be responsible for driving financial planning, forecasting, and reporting to support both short-term and long-term strategic initiatives. You will provide in-depth analysis, produce key financial reports, and ensure operational decisions are supported by accurate and actionable financial data. In addition, you will manage the accounting team and ensure smooth day-to-day financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Financial Leadership: Partner with senior leadership to design and

implement a financial infrastructure that supports the company’s sustained growth.

• Financial Reporting & Planning: Develop and maintain detailed financial reports,

models, and budgets to support strategic decision-making for both the short and long

term.

• Performance Analysis: Conduct ongoing analysis of key business drivers, trends, and

performance indicators, providing actionable insights to leadership.

• Effective Communication: Present financial data and analysis in an

easy-to-understand format for senior leadership and other stakeholders.

• Industry & Market Analysis: Continuously assess industry trends, competitive

pressures, and market opportunities to ensure the company remains strategically aligned and financially competitive.

• Accounting Oversight: Oversee all aspects of accounting, AR/AP, cash management,

and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

• Team Leadership: Manage the accounting team by establishing priorities, setting

objectives, providing guidance, and fostering a collaborative environment.

• Income Statement Management: Ensure timely and accurate preparation of income

statements and financial reports for the owner.

• Tax Planning & Compliance: Coordinate with external agencies for tax planning,

preparation, and reporting, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.

• Recruiting & Cultural Development: Support streamlined recruitment efforts while

fostering company culture through values of integrity and ethical conduct.

Qualifications:

• Extensive Financial Analysis Experience: Proven ability to perform both quantitative

and qualitative financial analysis with a strategic focus.

• Industry & Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of industry trends, competitive

pressures, and the ability to assess market potential.

• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to present complex financial data clearly and

concisely to senior leadership and other stakeholders.

• Strategic Mindset: Ability to distill financial data into strategic insights and drive

informed business decisions.

• Organizational Excellence: Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and

the ability to meet deadlines consistently.

• Accounting Expertise: In-depth knowledge of debit and credit accounting processes,

financial reporting, and compliance procedures.

• Leadership Ability: Proven ability to lead teams, provide direction, and serve as a

trusted advisor to business owners.

• Cultural Fit: Positive, flexible, and highly motivated with a collaborative, goal-driven

mindset.

• Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for

detailed analysis and reporting.
