Inside Sales Representative

INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

POSITION PURPOSE:

Quality Plus Feeds is looking for a self-starter who is well organized, dependable, and has a passion for the livestock nutrition industry. As part of our team, this individual will interact with customers daily and generate profitable feed sales through target marketing, providing value-added products, services, and nutritional recommendations within the Tri-State area.

KEY ROLES / RESPONSIBILITES:

• Strong animal nutrition knowledge
• Advise customers on value-added feed products and services
• Take orders and assist with store-front sales
• Monitor bookings, contracts, and promotions through the store
• Keep current on livestock products, trends, and challenges to offer educated recommendations
• Expand sales opportunities by identifying prospects and initiating communication
• Work closely with sales teams to ensure exceptional customer experience

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree in Animal Nutrition/Animal Science, or work experience in the animal feed business
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel
• Demonstrate ability to adapt to a flexible environment and collaborate
• Strong communication skills, dedicated customer focus, and solid decision-making abilities
• Organization, time management, self-motivated, and teamwork skills
