What/Position Overview:
The primary responsibility of the Account Manager (AM) is to build, develop and foster good client relationships, provide excellent customer service and manage customer equipment lifecycles. This person is responsible for the growth and development of the customers in their assigned territory. This position includes direct contact with prospects and clients to solicit, manage, and retain as well as to strengthen and grow customer relationships.
Essential Job Functions & Requirements
- Direct communication with prospects and clients – acts as a liaison between QPS and Customer
- Strong focus on Business Development by identifying and exploring business opportunities, building and maintaining successful relationships with prospects and existing clients, collaborating with executives on business strategy to determine objectives, evaluating current business performance and maximizing business reach and potential.
- Manage client/service relationships
- Responsible for managing equipment lifecycle.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to develop new accounts, perform account reviews, quotes and other customer facing material.
- Works with service and sales team to develop project-based quotes
- Responsible for: growth of existing client accounts – cross selling, client retention
- Responsible for territory and account strategies leading to retention and growth.
- Effort to collect and analyze data concerning consumer behavior to understand changing needs of the customer, focus on improving the customer experience.
- Some travel is required
Preferred Education, Experience, Skillset & Abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Business/Sales/Marketing or a technical field (one that provide individuals with a strong business and sales background, and the ability to make sound decisions in the field); at least 4 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

- Extensive experience with CRM software is preferred.
