Tabbers and Printing Operator

Experience on Tabbers Required.

Experience on Direct Mail shops is a plus.

$19.00 $25.00 hourly based on the experience

Temp to Hire Position (90 days)

Schedule: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Overtime as needed

E-Verify, Background check and Drug test is required.

Employee will work up to 7 days a week beginning January through March 2025 (All overtime is paid at time and half (*1.5)).

We are seeking a skilled individual to operate and maintain high-speed inkjet printers and related mailing equipment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience (set up, runs and trouble shoots) with inkjet machines tabbers, and stampers, ensuring the efficient production and preparation of bulk mail jobs.

Key Responsibilities:

· Operate inkjet machines to label, sort, bundle, band, palletize, bag, and tray bulk mail.

· Apply postage stamps to envelopes or packages using automated equipment.

· Refill ink and perform routine maintenance on machines.

· Troubleshoot and resolve issues, such as clearing machine jams.

· Assist in setting up machines, with supervisor approval required for final configurations.

• Sample creation: Create a sample to mail to the client for approval.

· Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

· Proven experience with inkjet machines and mailing equipment, such as high-speed printers and tabbers.

· Familiarity with lining up variable data on pre-printed materials.

· Ability to handle minor troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to follow instructions.

· Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with plenty of overtime potential during peak seasons.

• Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to operate or quickly learn to operate various printing machines.
