Accounts Payable Clerk

Purpose:

To process payments and control company expenses in a timely and efficient manner through the receiving, processing, verifying and reconciliation of invoices.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Functions:

• Process invoices daily, including tracking, collecting, and verifying invoices with associated purchase orders.
• Review invoices for accuracy of charges and make contact with Quality Stone Veneer employees or an outside vendor when a discrepancy occurs.
• Prepare invoices for data entry and enter necessary information into Quality Stone Veneer’s accounting software.
• Accurately code purchases to the correct expense account.
• File all invoices electronically upon receipt.
• Manage and track weekly check releases, including matching invoices with checks, preparing checks for release and mailing checks to the associated vendor.
• Process all online payments, including EFTs, ACHs, and credit card payments.
• Manage employee credit cards
• Collect receipts electronically
• Process monthly statements
• Maintain current vendor files with their associated tax information.
• Fill out credit applications for new vendors
• Constantly maintain accuracy of the A/P module of the accounting software and interact with all Quality Stone Veneer offices to ensure valid invoice payments.
• Other duties as assigned by Accounts Payable Manager

Must be able to:

1. Hear well and speak clearly
2. Alternate between sitting/standing for several hours at a time
3. Twist torso in chair
4. Bend at waist, kneel, and stoop
5. Reach above head
6. Move materials up to 10 lbs. such as files, books and office equipment.
7. Answer phone calls and take messages
8. Operate standard office equipment such as a computer keyboard and calculator
9. File/copy documents
10. Climb stairs
11. Display proficient computer skills (Microsoft word, excel, outlook)
12. Communicate clearly (written and oral) in English.
13. Use close, color, and peripheral vision and depth perception. Also must maintain the ability to focus vision in order to perform essential job duties.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

• Refton, PA 17568: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
