Production Supervisor / 2nd Shift

Monday to Friday
1st Shift 3:00pm-11:30pm $33.00-35.00/hr

Will be working in the production and packaging department making food products for a company in Cincinnati, OH

Position Summary:

Work in a food manufacturing facility, ensuring products are produced to the highest quality standards. Would also ensure that customer satisfaction, and that products are delivered to customers on promised dates.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the production operations of the facility with an aim for high performance
• Create strong cross-functional relationships to assist in the smooth operation of the facility
• Assist with the onboarding process of new hires
• Provide training and educational materials to staff
• Conduct annual reviews for staff performance
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Ensure strict adherence to facility safety and food safety guidelines and company standards
• Monitor and prioritize workflow and staffing of production to meet deadlines
• Provide direction and schedules to the manufacturing department
• Establish daily, weekly and monthly objectives and communicate them to employees
• Manage the workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
• Guide and coach employees, monitoring their productivity
• Oversee safe use of equipment and work with maintenance team to schedule regular maintenance
• Perform verification of production input and output according to specifications
• Prepare production boards to report on performance and progress and present them to senior managers
• Detect issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
• Other duties as assigned

Must Have REQUIREMENTS

• Experience and desire to support a culture built on collaboration, sharing of ideas and celebration of successes as well as drive for positive outcomes with cross-functional teams.
• High School Diploma at a minimum with previous relevant leadership experience; bachelor's degree in business, engineering or other relevant area will be a bonus.
• 2 years proven experience working in a supervisory role; in a manufacturing environment preferred.

• Flexible to work long hours as required to meet production needs and deadlines
• Good practical experience with MS Office

• Bilingual Preferred

Physical Requirements: (adjust as necessary)

• Able to sit, walk, move around for long hours at a time
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
• Must be able to work near food ingredients, exposure to food allergens

• Location: inside an air-conditioned manufacturing and warehouse environment
• You must be able to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards
• You must be able to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards

Machines typically operated include but are not limited to computer and standard office equipment, disc and belt inspection machine, metal detector, scales, tape machine, computer and tools.

Salary : $33 - $35
