Job Details:
- Setting: Acute-care facility, Medical-Surgical / Telemetry unit
- Shift: [Day/Night – if known], 36 hours/week
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Minimum Requirements:
- Active RN license in good standing
- 1 year of recent MS/Tele experience in an acute-care setting
- Current BLS (ACLS may be required depending on assignment)
- Strong charting/documentation skills
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit, ensuring adherence to acute care protocols.
- Perform patient assessments, including IV insertion and catheterization, while monitoring vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including tube feeding and airway management.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams using EHR systems to document patient progress and coordinate care.
- Maintain ACLS and BLS certifications to respond effectively in emergencies.
