Shift Available:
1st Shift (Monday - Thursday) (5 AM to 3:30 PM)
2nd Shift: (Monday - Thursday) (3:30 PM - 2 AM)
General Labor – Shakeout/Deburring
Quality Tool, an ISO9001:2015 certified contract manufacturer delivering metal components to Fortune 500 companies, is seeking reliable, motivated, and team-minded general laborers to work in our deburring area at our St. Paul, MN facility. This position is responsible for operating a deburring machine to perform deburring, grinding and buffing operations on metal products.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures that all work is done in accordance with and adheres to Company ISO9001:2015 and Quality standards.
- Understands and promotes company’s mission, values, and quality policy.
- Exhibits the personal characteristics we value of good attitude, intelligence, integrity and humility.
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship.
- Good hand dexterity.
- Understanding of basic hand inspection tools i.e. Caliper, Micrometer, Dial Indicators.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Demonstrated problem solving ability in a machine shop environment.
- Good judgment and decision-making skills.
- Good attendance and punctuality and willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Able to work independently, with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team.
- Able to lift to 50 pounds.
- Desired Qualifications:
- 1 plus years of precision metal finishing experience.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent .
- Completion of an apprenticeship program, or technical or trade school training program is a plus.
