Project Coordinator – Entry-Level (Steel Industry Experience Preferred)

What You’ll Do:
- Assist in coordinating millwright, rigging, and mechanical projects from bidding to completion.
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and excellent service.
- Track and update project schedules, milestones, and budgets.
- Assist in estimating, procurement tracking, and subcontractor coordination.
- Ensure projects meet safety and quality standards while staying on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Operations, Sales, Scheduling, HR, and field teams.
- Learn job costing, construction accounting, and scheduling software.
What We’re Looking For:
- 0-3 years of experience in project coordination, millwright work, or rigging (shop experience preferred, especially in steel).
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents, P&IDs, ISO drawings, and technical specs.
- Basic knowledge of rigging operations, cranes, lift trucks, and installation methods.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to track multiple project elements.
- Excellent customer service skills – proactive, professional, and responsive.
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and grow into a leadership role.
Education Requirements:
- Required: High School Diploma
- Preferred: AS/BS in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field – OR hands-on industry experience.
