Job Overview
We seek a QE Transformation Leader with 15 years of experience in Quality Engineering, holding at least 8 years of leadership roles. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and stakeholder management skills to drive and execute the Quality Engineering transformation strategy for our customer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the QE Transformation Strategy: Assess current maturity and implement a roadmap for continuous improvement.
- Engage Key Stakeholders: IT Directors, QE CoR Leads, Test Managers, Developers, DevSecOps Leads, and Test Automation Leads to align on transformation goals.
- Evangelize a Quality-First Mindset: Advocate for shift-left testing, DevSecOps practices, and continuous quality integration.
- Develop and Implement Test Automation Strategies: Utilize commercial and open-source tools like Tosca, Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, and TestNG.
- Build and Optimize CI/CD-Integrated Automation Frameworks: Support various testing levels (UI, API, Data).
- Oversee Test Data and Environment Management: Ensure efficient and stable testing processes.
- Establish and Track Key Quality Metrics: Measure transformation success and optimize testing efficiency.
- Collaborate Seamlessly in a Multi-Vendor Environment: Ensure alignment between different teams and service providers.
- Provide Hands-On Problem-Solving Support: Guide teams through QE challenges and foster innovation.
- Ensure Best-in-Class Test Management Processes: Leverage tools such as Jira/Xray, TestRail, and other ALM platforms.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Cutting-Edge QE Concepts: AI-driven testing, cloud-based testing, and DevOps practices.

- Proficiency in Test Data Management and Environment Management Strategies.
- Ability to Work Effectively in Multi-Vendor Environments: Foster collaboration and drive QE excellence.
- Nice to Have: Cloud Testing Experience and GenAI-Driven QE Solutions.
- Strong DevOps Skills: Ensure seamless integration of QE into CI/CD pipelines.
- Deep Understanding of Quality Metrics, Measurement Techniques, and Continuous Improvement Frameworks.
- Expertise Across Various Testing Levels: UI, API, data testing, unit testing, and static code analysis.
- Hands-On Experience with Project and Test Management Tools: Jira/Xray, TestRail, Azure Test Plans, etc.
- Proficiency in Development Testing Practices: Unit testing, static code analysis to enhance quality at early stages.
Preferred Experience:
- 15 years of experience in Quality Engineering, with at least 8 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of leading QE transformations in large enterprise environments.
- Strong experience working in Agile, SAFe, or DevOps-driven organizations.
- Certifications such as ISTQB Advanced, SAFe Agilist, or DevOps certifications are a plus.
- Nice to Have: P&C Insurance domain knowledge.
