Position Overview
Power your future with Qualus as an Electrical Engineering Intern! Our Interns partner with our engineering teams in completing electrical design packages. They develop electrical drawings using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation and perform quality assurance checks on drawing schematics. They also conduct document control functions for the engineering department as it relates to project deliverables. Interns must be at least a Junior in college, Seniors are preferred. Responsibilities
- Create drawings using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
- Perform quality assurance checks on electrical drawings under Senior Engineer supervision.
- Create engineering support documentation.
- Apply company processes and procedures along with client standards in the design, development, implementation, and analysis of projects.
- Provide administrative support as needed.
Qualifications
- Full-time Junior or Senior in an ABET-accredited program pursuing BS degree in electrical engineering (civil and mechanical engineering considered).
- Currently enrolled or have taken Power Systems courses/electives.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Experience with AutoCAD drafting software preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
