Quanex is looking for a Specialty Dept. Machine Operator III – Sample Coordinator to join our team located in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
In this role you are responsible for building samples for customers. You will also have independent work as well as collaboration with other departments within the organization. You will be expected to work safely and work in normal production as needed.

What’s attractive about this position?
- $18 - $28 per hour, based on experience
- Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Monday – Friday) Overtime
What Success Looks Like:
- Follows all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines and identifies any existing or potential safety issues.
- Attends work on time and for scheduled hours each day.
- Partners with Product Development, Quality, Production, and other departments.
- Works independently at times, but is able to work with different departments and in normal production when needed.
- Is a team player by cooperating and supporting co-workers.
What You Bring:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 6 months of wood manufacturing experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organization skills, excellent communication, and documentation.
- Positive attitude and a strong desire to learn.
