What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Intern position at Quanex?
Quanex is looking for a Human Resources Intern to join our team located in Houston, Texas.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a Total Rewards team to learn and support all aspects of what goes into total rewards for an organization. Will obtain hands-on analytical and project management support for the company's Total Rewards program. This includes participation in analyzing market data, reviewing, and creating job descriptions, producing reports, and participating in departmental projects.
What Success Looks Like :
- Assist with job analysis, job evaluation, and benchmarking
- Evaluate jobs, documenting responsibilities and requirements in job descriptions
- Update HR and survey systems with applicable compensation data
- Contribute to compensation and total rewards special projects and / or assignments
- Assist with streamlining compensation documentation, programs, processes, and administration
- Participate research, recommendation, and implementation of project plans for improvement
- Assist with HR Data Analytics
- Handle confidential data and information with utmost professionalism
- Proficiency with MS Office applications - Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP's)
- Self-motivated and demonstrate high level of responsibility and professionalism
- Strong sense of urgency, customer service focus, organizational, and analytical skills
Your Credentials :
The salary range for this position is $18 to $24 per hour.
