PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Designing and planning the organization's networks to meet current and future needs.
Evaluating and recommending hardware and software solutions to support network infrastructure. Installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and servers. Setting up and managing network protocols, IP addressing, and domain systems. Provides secure intranet (LAN/WAN) and internet access controls. Coordinates with Quanta entities, outside agencies and customers related to network security functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with other IT professionals to implement solutions for scalability and performance improvement.
Design, implement, and maintain the organization's network infrastructure.
Work closely with cross functional teams in a dynamic environment in order to implement cost effective network solutions based on business objectives.
Proactive monitoring of network performance with alerting mechanisms to ensure uptime availability and reliable data flow.
Develop thorough documentation including network diagrams, outlines and technical specifications.
Implement and enforce security protocols to safeguard the organization's data and network systems.
In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and security standards.
Provide technical support to end-users regarding network-related concerns.
Optimize network performance through regular assessments and upgrades.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting processes.
Perform network related tests, research and problem resolution.
Wireless (Wi-Fi), Routing/Switching, AP placement and optimal coverage implementation.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Computer Science or related field and 3 years Networking experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- (CCNA, CCNP) and or ISSA certifications (Network , PenTest ,) experience preferred.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Proven experience as a Network Administrator or a similar role in a moderate to large enterprise LAN/WAN corporate environment.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
- Knowledge of cloud security principles and practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in designing and diagramming secure network infrastructures.
- Experience with conducting and oversight of vulnerability and risk assessments.
- Solid Knowledge of network infrastructure (routers, switches, etc.) and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
- Experience managing a wide range of Switching equipment including but not limited to Cisco, Juniper, Arista, and Quanta.
- Installing and configuring network equipment to update or fix hardware or software issues.
- Knowledge of network automation and scripting.
- Ability to read, write and speak fluent English.
