PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Responsible for leading Operations staff and assisting in the area of performing testing of servers for CCBU Systems Assembled. Ensures all personnel are adequately trained and that all training is documented properly. Assumes overall operational duties in the absence of the Service Operations Supervisor. Assist in the daily operations of the department and maintains organizational work area and ensures the cleanliness of all areas assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides daily work assignments to assigned personnel to in order to meet established production goals.
- Resolves all functional test issues (Quality, Processing, Repair, etc.) as they arise.
- Ensure transactions into Test monitoring system are properly entered by personnel to provide accurate data which provides traceability of test progress and history.
- Provide accurate and timely departmental reports.
- Work with individual on performance reviews as assigned.
- Drive & Maintain 5s Metrics & Drive a Safe Working Environment.
- Lead Testing team to meet shipment target for all units undergoing functional testing.
- Promote a culture of process excellence through exceeding quality metrics.
- Meet daily & weekly goals for testing output.
- Provide instruction and training to assigned personnel on proper procedures and regulations ensuring appropriate documentation is completed, timely and accurately.
- Train and motivate employees through effective communication.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 1-2 years supervisory/lead experience in either a production or repair center environment, performing functional/quality testing of operating systems.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft, Word, Excel, and Access.
- Knowledge of Linux and server architecture, networking.
- Knowledge of hardware debugging.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associates degree preferred.
- A Certification a Plus.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

- Knowledge of Electro Static Discharge (ESD) and preventative measures.
