PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting and repair of server hardware running Linux while performing/assisting the repair process. Responsible for ensuring product quality through repairing and testing of product to ensure specifications are met. Documents issues and reports potential quality related problems to quality management. Order parts through the part ordering system, ensuring the right part is selected, installed and the defect part retuned to RTV while following all ESD protocol and procedures to reduce damages.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Repair or replace parts as necessary for servers.
- Use of tools and test equipment of various types, to repair servers.
- Disassembles and/or reassembles units according to the applicable work instructions.
- Orders correct parts using the proper procedures.
- Tests units according to work instructions and process flows.
- Responsible for inspecting products to ensure it is labeled correctly.
- Responsible for completing applicable paperwork completely and accurately.
- Responsible for entering repair data accurately into the QMS shop floor system.
- Document and communicate repair issues to the Supervisor or lead and or to the PE or TE teams.
- Data Collection and analysis for use in problem solving.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Six (6) months to one (1) year technical repair experience in a related field required.
- Six (6) months to one (1) year experience in debugging and testing of electromechanical assemblies a plus.
- A Plus Certification a plus.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.

- Computer literate in a Windows Environment; Excel, Word, Power Point, Access, Internet.
