Job Title:
Senior Application Programmer (Lead)

The scope of this role includes designing, coding, compiling, testing, debugging, and documenting new and existing web applications. It also involves maintaining and supporting existing applications.
Main Responsibilities:
- Designs and implements new features for web applications
- Maintains and updates existing applications to ensure performance and efficiency
- Reviews and audits the performance of replacement software and identifies areas for improvement
- Provides technical knowledge transfer and training to team members and stakeholders
- Prioritizes tasks and manages time effectively to meet project deadlines
- Participates in team meetings and design sessions to ensure alignment with Scrum ceremonies
Requirements:
- Expertise in ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, C#, SQL Server (T-SQL), and five years of experience in application development
- Proficiency in VueJS, Bootstrap, SSIS, SSRS Reports, IIS, Distributed Design Systems (SOA/Microservices), DevOps Practices (CI/CD), JIRA, Git Source Control, and Frontend JavaScript Development is desirable but not mandatory
- Prior experience leading a team of developers and working with the Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles is also desirable
