Position Overview :
This position is accountable for performing sales administrative and clerical duties for individuals(s) in the organization. Provides office services by implementing administrative systems, procedures, policies, and monitoring administrative projects. Maintains filing system and screens telephone calls.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities Include :
- General Administrative duties including answering & screening telephone calls, directing the call to the correct party & taking messages accurately with positive presence.
- Capable of doing requisitions and requests for quotes on a daily basis.
- Process customer purchase orders into ERP.
- Directly interacting with customers regarding orders in process and their progress.
- Utilizing the PC for word processing, database applications, basic spreadsheets for company reporting and analysis and uploading information into ERP system.
- Following up with vendors & customers via phone, email and in person.
- Assists with special projects and contributes to team.
- Ability to handle multiple duties / tasks at one time.
- Assist with administrative tasks for purchasing, inventory control and shipping departments when needed.
