Job summary
The Quality Control Specialist is a critical member of the Quality team. The QC Specialist is responsible for inspecting products for non-conformances and working with various teams to implement corrective actions.
Job Requirements
Responsibilities
- Perform quality control inspections per the Quality Control Inspection Procedure for packaging and shipping.
- Perform all necessary follow-up relative to completed NCRs, including, but not limited to, the coordination of team meetings, scheduling training/re-training, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Review and log incoming customer NCR’s, facilitate and drive investigation with the operations department; submit the first draft of a response.
- Work with site leadership to schedule NCR-related standdowns and document employee participation in each standdown.
- Complete and document routine V&V of NCRs.
- Complete photo verification at a pre-determined, site specific, or percentage-based rate.
Minimum requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior quality control experience
- Clear understanding of operational process and procedure
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication skills
- Must possess critical thinking skills
