Duties and Responsibilities
- Help maintain and organize accurate documentation of design changes, test procedures, and project progress.
- Collaborate with the hardware team to test and validate electronic components and systems for Quantum Computing.
- Participate in the prototyping and assembly of electronic prototypes and proof-of-concept models, including soldering work.
- Assist in designing and developing custom electronic circuits and systems under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Work closely with senior engineers to implement design changes and enhancements in the in-progress projects.
- Prepare reports summarizing findings and recommendations for review by the Hardware team.
- Familiarity with designing PCBs. Experience with at least one ECAD suite (Altium, OrCAD, Allegro, CircuitMaker, and others). Altium preferred.
- Strong academic background in analog and digital electronics. Basic understanding of microcontrollers and embedded systems.
- Familiarity with simulation tools such as SPICE. Good understanding of discrete components domain.
- Experience with lab instruments such as DMMs, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers.
- Able to code on C, C , MATLAB/Octave, or Python.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented.
