Founded in 2004, we are a commercial general contractor who most commonly performs remodel projects for retail stores, along with a lengthy track record of public and private projects of all kinds. We are currently looking to expand our team of traveling superintendents.
Position Summary:Responsible for supervision of all construction remodel project activities staying within the established budget and schedule, following established company policies, and treating subordinates fairly and uniformly, the Superintendent position maintains a stable, safe, efficient, and pleasant work environment helping to ensure the company's success and establishment of a loyal customer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Plans and coordinates project start-up in conjunction with Project Managers;
- Orders or requisitions materials, supplies, tools, and schedules equipment rentals;
- Inspects and confirms the quality, price, and correct quantities of all deliveries;
- Participates in pre-construction meetings with sub-contractors and customers;
- Maintains field P.O. and Rental Log;
- Demonstrates OSHA requirement familiarity and maintains OSHA compliance on-site.
- Collects and processes daily reports;
- Routinely inspects work progress, equipment, and construction site to maintain compliance;
- Takes immediate and appropriate action to correct any potential safety hazards;
- Supervises, coordinates, and schedules the activities of field personnel and sub-contractors;
- Creates and accurately maintains cost/labor reports;
- Reports labor time and sign off on all time sheets;
- Represents Company at all times with professionalism and a commitment to quality;
- Other duties as assigned by Company Management.

Job Skills, Ability and Experience
- 1-2 years experience working in commercial field construction.
- Experience in handling commercial property maintenance preferred.
- OSHA 30 Hour Certification will be given precedence.
- Must be willing to travel within the Midwest.
- Must be able to write reasonably detailed reports and work unsupervised.
- Must have good understanding of construction and trades, and the ability to work in a professional manner with subcontractors and store management.
- Those with Walmart experience will be given special consideration
