Position Summary:
Quantum Recruiters is partnering with a local manufacturing organization looking to add Accounts Receivable talent to their organization. Their team is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to oversee AR functions with precision and accountability efficiently. This role is vital in ensuring the timely collection of payments for our products and services. Key Responsibilities:
- Payment Handling: Process, verify, and record customer payments, including bank deposits, credit card transactions, and store receipts.
- Account Monitoring: Review customer aging reports to track outstanding balances and manage overdue accounts.
- Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve customer account discrepancies, working closely with the AR team, Credit Manager, Sales Team, and store personnel.
- Credit Oversight: Monitor and approve credit holds based on company policies.
- Customer Data Maintenance: Ensure customer records are up to date, including sales tax details, sales representatives, and address modifications.
- Billing & Reporting: Generate and distribute invoices and account statements while preparing periodic financial reports.
- Payment Plans: Negotiate and document payment arrangements for overdue accounts.
- Credit Evaluations: Assess credit limit recommendations and determine when accounts should be escalated to collections.
- Collaboration: Partner with the department manager on credit requests and assist in reconciling AR accounts as needed.
- Administrative Support: Manage filing, scanning, and other administrative tasks while providing backup support for the AR team.
Additional Duties:
