Mission :
This is a System Engineer position supporting the Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Air & Missile Defense (AMD) Mission Command Product Office, a government program office addressing Army Air and Missile Defense systems, with focus on Mission Command systems.
Responsibilities :
Work with contractors, government civilians, and system operators to develop system level concepts that provide solutions to problems that often involve multiple systems.
- These concepts define external interfaces, outline system behavior, and establish performance and acceptance criteria necessary to support HW and SW engineering teams.
- Tasks include leading reviews and adjudicating comments made against the concepts.
- Concept development will utilize a model-based system engineering (MBSE) approach.
