TERRITORY SALES MANAGER - MIDWEST U.S. and CANADA
Quantum Technical Services is seeking a motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to join our team selling capital equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and expanding our customer base within the Midwest U.S. Territory and Canada. The candidate preferably resides in Wisconsin, Minnesota or other major metropolitan area. Your primary focus will be on lead generation, account management, and building strong relationships with clients to drive sales growth.
Territory Sales Manager Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve territory sales targets.
- Generate new leads through cold calling, networking, and other outreach methods.
- Manage existing accounts and cultivate long-term relationships with clients.
- Utilize Salesforce to track sales activities, manage customer interactions, and report on progress.
- Coordinate with inside sales, engineering, and operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process.
Territory Sales Manager Skills:
- Proven experience in lead generation and cold-calling techniques.
- A background in capital equipment, specifically food processing equipment is highly desirable.
- Strong account management skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Familiarity with Salesforce for tracking sales activities.
- Demonstrated ability in business development and outside sales.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.
- Knowledge of territory management principles to optimize coverage and effectiveness.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
Territory Sales Manager Experience:
- 2 years outside capital equipment sales experience. Preferably in the food processing industry.
- Experience managing multiple projects through completion.
- Experience working with various levels of management at large corporations.
