Description
The Quarry Lane School, a private, Jr.K-12, International Baccalaureate school in Dublin, CA, seeks experienced Biology teachers to teach a six-week summer school Biology class Monday-Friday, starting June 12th. We are looking for instructors to teach the 8:00am- 12:00pm class. This class is equivalent to a year-long/2 semester UC approved Biology course.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Create lesson plans for each day
- Supervise and instruct students during class time
- Provide individual support to students needing additional instruction
- Provide grades and written comments at the end of the course for each student
Personal Attributes:

- Excellent communication and human relation skills
- Positive "Can do" attitude
Salary- $7000 per 4 - hour per day/ 6 week section
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities Required)
- M.S or Ph.D in science preferred.
- Two years of experience teaching Biology.
- Passionate about education and teaching high school students.
- Enthusiastic person with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Salary : $7,000
