We are searching for a Help Desk Specialist to support the (FAA) Aviation Safety Flight StandardsService.
Duties and responsibilities include :
- Respond to requests for system support initiated over the phone, online or directly from personnel.
- Gather detailed technical data regarding 30 different Air Traffic Control systems.
- Enter initial information and updates for each call into an online database.
- Follow processes for contacting engineering support, assigning calls and disseminating information accurately.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for a Position of Public Trust. Must be a US Citizen or three-year permanent resident.
Hybrid schedule - candidate will be expected to report to the William J. Hughes Technical Center in Pomona, NJ at least two days a week or more if required.
Requirements
Candidate must have 2 years of Customer Service experience.
Available for flexible work schedules due to 24 / 7 / 365 staffing needs. Must be willing to work available shift which is currently part-time.
