Responsibilities Will Include But Are Not Limited To
- Appear and represent the entire office in the handling of the daily court calendars in various criminal and supreme court parts
- Effectively conference cases with ADA’s, judges, court attorneys and defense counsel
- Manage and complete court paperwork including OTP’s, Forfeiture, Restitution, Notices of Voted Indictment and Waivers of Appeal
- Communicate daily with the Grand Jury Bureau with respect to 180.80 matters
- Confirm the legality of all proposed pleas and sentences in advance of the calendar appearance
- Respond to bail applications
- Communicate and advocate on behalf of the office by making a full and accurate record of the proceeding
- Assist in the handling of Rendition and Extradition matters
- Supervise and train new ADA’s assigned to Supreme Court
- Extensive experience in handling all aspects of criminal prosecution
- Substantial court room experience
- Knowledge of New York Penal law, VTL and Criminal Procedure Law

Salary : $94,000 - $134,000
