Immediate Food Service Director position available at a nursing home in Queens, NY. Work as part of a highly skilled interdisciplinary team in a fast paced environment! We provide short and long-term rehabilitation, and long-term nursing care. We are seeking a team player with excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Oversees purchasing, receiving, storing and preparing of food.
- Work closely with various departments to ensure resident satisfaction and coordinate food needs for events.
- Manages kitchen staff, operations and inventory.
- Develops, manages, and maintains food services policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Must have current Certificate and Licensure and Long Term Care experience.
- Familiar with Department of Health Guidelines.
- Management experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
