What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cash Service Specialist position at Queensborough National Bank & Trust Co.?
The Cash Services Specialist is responsible for the replenishment and settlement of the bank's fleet of ATMs and ITMs. Specialists will partner with branch staff and external security providers to complete dual control cash replenishments. Replenishments will consist of onsite preparation of cash cassettes to add to machines as well as counting and balancing the cash residuals and checks removed from machines. Specialist will also maintain the coin and receipt paper in the machines. Specialists will update machine totals and bill / coin counts. May be required to pull checks from machines as needed. Machines should be serviced so as to have minimal customer impact. All customer and employee interactions while onsite should be in accordance with Queensborough's QStar standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cash to be added to ATMs and ITMs
- Remove, count and balance cash residuals
- Accurately update machine totals
- Maintain security awareness at all times
- Secure cash and checks at all times
- Complete emergency check pulls as needed
- Clean and disinfect machines
- Replenish receipt paper as needed, and ensure that adequate supplies are available.
- Acts as a supportive team player and a champion of the Queensborough brand both internally and externally within the community.
- Daily travel to locations throughout the bank's footprint required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
