What You will Do:
- The individual will need to act as a focal point for all business, operational and personnel issues to ensure business runs smoothly
- You must have the ability to generate and maintain the confidence of current and new customers.
- The individual will interface directly with the employees supporting Operations and Quality functions to understand their technical needs and translate into daily deliverables for the team to execute
- You will need to guide and mentor direct employees regularly to mitigate customer and employee issues
- You will need to define and monitor Key Result Areas for employees to provide goals and targets for each individual or team through the fiscal year
- You will be required to create plans to ramp up or down headcount, provide financial forecasting and project additional infrastructure requirements
- You will be required to manage a number of key metrics such as revenue, contribution margin, headcount, etc. to ensure success of the organization
- You must oversee all project management activities your Project Leads are performing including Quotation and SOW reviews, project set-up within our integrated project management system, project budget analysis, and project closure
- In some cases, you will be responsible for the direct management of projects to ensure project and quality compliance as well as customer satisfaction
How You Will Get Here:
- Demonstrate experience commensurate with the required role
- Highlight experience developing business with customers across multiple sites / geographies
- Outline experience managing key operational areas like workload forecasting, employee culture, deliverable quality, etc.
- Show a history of rapidly quoting and staffing new opportunities
- Ensure profitability targets across the team but properly staffing and utilizing team members
Pay Range: $85K - $110K
Work Requirements:
We offer flexible work options, including hybrid arrangements, to support the need of the role and align with company policies. This position is preferably based in Phoenix, AZ and is considered hybrid with 2 days preferred on-site.
Citizenship requirement: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required
Travel requirements: Due to the nature of the work, 15% of travel is required
Work Experience
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience within Engineering, Supply Chain or other applicable field
· 5-10 total years of experience with 3-5 years supervisory experience, preferably within the Aerospace industry
· Experience in a customer facing/customer service role required
· Demonstrated success in engaging employees and establishing successful organizational culture
· Proven success in implementing strategies that improve business operations
· A strong knowledge of manufacturing and quality systems, able to understand customer’s quality, manufacturing and supply chain needs and work with technical leadership to develop robust technical solutions is preferred
· Proficiency with MS Office suite
· Work well across borders and in a team oriented environment
· Like to work in a fast paced, creative environment without a lot of management oversight, and are independent and forward facing
