We have an immediate need for a Shipping & Receiving Specialist at our aerospace location in York, NE. The primary focus of this role is ongoing management, organization & tracking of company assets to ensure they are maintained, accounted for and secure.
Duties & Responsibilities Include:
- Maintain accurate records of all assets including location, value, and condition.
- Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy of asset records and update as necessary.
- Plan and execute asset management procedures such as transferring, disposing, and updating assets.
- Liaise with relevant departments to ensure assets are being utilized effectively and any potential issues are resolved.
- Provide support to internal and external stakeholders regarding asset related matters.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements regarding assets.
The ideal candidate will have the following combination of education and experience:
- HS Diploma/GED. College coursework or associate degree preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in an asset management coordination role.
- Experience using an ERP (SAP preferred)
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with asset management software and systems.
- Due to the nature of the work this role requires US citizenship
