We have an immediate need for a Training Coordinator to support training & onboarding of employees at our aerospace location in Rockford ILL
Duties & Responsibilities include:
- Manage campaigns and ensure completion of all required Workday training courses for Employees.
- Assist Functional Managers with skill matrix development and maintenance.
- Ensure functions have proper documentation for claimed training and competencies.
- Ensure the Certified Operator Training Program aligns with site procedures.
- Identify and organize new training experiences/promote resources based upon site needs.
- Identify training opportunities to aid managers in closing gaps on skills matrixes.
- Ensure Quarterly required Trainings are organized and completed
Work Experience
Required Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following combination of education and experience:
- HS Diploma/GED with 2-3 years relevant experience
- Self-starter
- Organized and motivated
- Confident initiating and leading conversations with employees and executives
- Must be able to drive open action items to closure
- Intermediate level Excel skills (charts, matrix’s, pivot tables etc…)
- Due to the nature of the work, you must be a US Citizen
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
- Mostly Office Environments, Occasional Shop Floor involvement.
- Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.
- Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.
- Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.
- Typical 40 hours weeks plus lunch / core (required) hours / General shift: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
- Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
