Quest Integrity, a global leader in inspection and engineering services, is seeking a Senior Pipeline Integrity Engineer who will effectively manage the development and activities of our pipeline integrity services in North American markets (US, Canada and Mexico) to include business development, project delivery and product development.
This position will preferably work out of our Boulder, Colorado or Stafford, Texas offices; willing to consider other locations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and create new opportunities for pipeline
integrity advanced engineering
- Identify new service and product development needs
- Conduct client visits and deliver technical presentations
- Provide technical direction related to pipeline
integrity, including fitness for service assessment, failure analysis and
additional assessments based upon in-line inspection data
- Align and engage with regional sales teams, including
participating in sales calls and regional meetings, and supporting client
visits
- Manage projects and deliverables
- Provide input to annual budget
- Support origination of commercial opportunities and
generate revenue for the pipeline segment of Advanced Engineering
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Ensure highest level of quality for all deliverables
- Present advanced engineering capabilities at conferences,
trade shows and forums
- Participate in the development of the team, including career
progression and recruiting

KNOWLEDGE AND REQUIREMENTS:
- MS or BS in related engineering field
- 10 years of industry experience and technical knowledge
in pipeline integrity engineering
- 5 years of previous employment by a pipeline
owner/operator preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in relevant pipeline codes and
standards and regulatory requirements, including 49 CFR Part and 195, codes and
standards (ASME, API)
- Experience with management of pipeline integrity
engineering projects
- Experience in performing integrity assessments of
pipeline threats including corrosion, outside damage, long seam anomalies, and
stress corrosion cracking
- Experience in performing pipeline integrity assessments
including assessment using in-line inspection data preferred
- Experience working with a team performing more advanced
engineering assessments such as fracture mechanics, computational mechanics,
and finite element analysis preferred
- Proven ability to interact with and effectively manage
input from multiple stakeholders to deliver business unit and enterprise goals.
- Must be self-driven, highly motivated, and diplomatic,
and be able to maintain confidentiality
- Professional written and verbal communication skills,
including the ability to confidently deliver presentations to technical
audiences
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Travel requirement:
estimated at 30%
- Strong negotiation skills
