What you will be doing:
Questeq is seeking an on-site summer Technology Intern who will join the talented team at the Athens Area School District. The purpose of the internship is to provide meaningful, professional hands-on experience to students with proven academic performance and leadership potential. This is an on-site internship at the school district starting in June 2024.
Essential Functions:
- Takes direction and gets work assignments from the Technology Manager/Director.
- Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals with minimal supervision.
- Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems.
- Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups.
- Familiar with and follows the assigned site work processes, practices, and procedures.
- Follows Questeq procedures and best practices related to the help desk ticket system.
- Assist senior staff to aid in the resolution of a complex or out of policy operation problems.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Ability to take direction and execute assigned tasks.
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have good customer service skills.
- Proven aptitude and willingness to learn Desktop, Network, Server and peripheral device.
- Maintenance and installation processes.
Specific Technology Skills:
- Windows, Google, and Apple operating systems experience.
- Cloud based applications experience.
- Mobile device experience such as iPhone, Android, etc.
Clearances:
- Must be able to successfully pass multiple criminal and child abuse clearances.
