Responsibilities
- Lay tiles on floors, walls, and other surfaces according to design specifications.
- Measure and cut tiles using power tools to ensure precise fitting.
- Prepare surfaces for tile installation by cleaning, leveling, and applying adhesives.
- Install cabinets and perform related carpentry tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with electricians for any electrical work required during installation.
- Conduct construction inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Operate heavy equipment as necessary for site preparation and material handling.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the project duration.
Requirements
- Proven experience in tile laying with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in using power tools and other equipment relevant to tile installation.
- Familiarity with cabinet installation techniques is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of electrical work, concrete forming, tile work, and general carpentry skills.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions accurately.
