Quick Hands Logistics/QHL Staffing – Business Development Executive:
The general goal for the Business Development Executive is to market services from the company to attain new clientele by offering temporary, temp-to-hire, and direct placement services (QHL Staffing) along with 3rd party lumping and yard jockey services (Quick Hands Logistics).
Responsibilities Include:
- TRUE HUNTER ROLE: Research and follow new/referred leads to acquire new business, primarily through doortodoor prospecting in the warehousing industry.
- Responsible for familiarizing themselves with the services provided.
- Create presentations highlighting QHL Staffing and Quick Hands Logistics services for prospects.
- Successfully close sales.
- Work toward exceeding quotas set by Manager.
- Planning and organizing daily work schedule for field visits to new prospects.
- Focus sales efforts by studying existing trends and remain updated on competition.
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information.
- Responsible for coordinating site visits as well as ensuring reliable transportation for oneself.
- Tracking mileage and submitting mileage reimbursements reports on time.
- Follow company policies and procedures, including those related to safety.
- Other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Outside Sales/Field Sales (door to door/B2B).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the light industrial industry.
- Must have reliable transportation and clean driving record.
- Excellent time management must be able to organize and manage multiple priorities at once.
- Strong customer orientation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Bilingual (Preferred) English and Spanish.
Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Able to bend, lift, stoop, crawl, sitting and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and humidity, if necessary.
- Ability to hear and understand audible signals and instructions in a noisy environment.
- Good vision, including depth perception and peripheral vision.
- Exposure to loud noises and vibration.
- Clear verbal and nonverbal communication abilities to follow instructions, collaborate with team members, and report any safety concerns promptly.
- Ability to move through warehouse/offices safely.
Territory:
- Inland Empire. Required to drive to Jurupa Valley for initial 12 weeks training and monthly meetings thereafter.
