What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Purchasing Specialist position at Quick Servant?
Responsible for ordering and tracking all HVAC& Refrigeration Parts for technicians and communicating ETA’s and issues with Dispatch, and Service Managers.
Duties and responsibilities
- Answering incoming phone calls from field technicians and providing purchase order #’s and resolving issues.
- Ordering all HVAC/R parts for technicians from authorized vendors providing ETA’s and PO’s to Technician and Dispatch Department
- Providing Pricing and help finding parts for Technicians.
- Tracking receipt of all Parts Purchases ensuring ETA’s are met, and communicating any changes to Dispatch dept.
- Supporting Hot Side Parts Purchasing Coordinator during busy times.
Job Requirements
- Attention to Detail, job requires a high-level of detail-oriented work, and mistakes can be costly, and time consuming.
- Customer Service, and Phone Etiquette position will be required to interact with Customers, Vendors, and Field technicians and must insure the highest level of customer service at all times.
- Basic Computer Skills consisting of moderate to fast typing and knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, & Word.)
- Self-Starting and Responsible employee will be required to understand all aspects of the job and solve problems as they arise.
- Basic understanding of HVAC, Refrigeration, or Electrical components.
