What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dickey's Barbecue Evening Lead/Assistant Manager position at Quick Serve Restaurant Manager?
We are looking for an evening Lead/Closer. We close at 9pm, usually the closer is out by 9:30pm. Shift can start anywhere from 3pm-5pm, must be able to work at least 3 shifts per week consisitently. Availability for at least part of the weekend is strongly encouraged (but not required to work all weekend).
Lead day-to-day operations of the location, including opening or closing, food ordering, prep, cooking, and most importantly great customer service. Assist first-line managers to achieve their goals and also ensure that all teams within a unit are functioning well. Their specific duties and the scope of work of these professionals vary depending on the company and industry they work in, but may include:
- Developing key performance goals and managing the performance of staff
- Creating and implementing strategies for business growth
- Hiring new staff within a department or business unit
- Ensuring that departments or units deliver quality offerings to clients
- Working closely with account managers and other senior staff to retain clients
- Developing new solutions to meet client needs
- Improving internal processes for better productivity
- Overseeing large projects and interpreting performance reports
- Managing the budget and monitoring the financial health of a location or business unit
- This is a working manager role, you will need to perform every role within the building
Requirements:
- At least a high school diploma
- Previous restaurant experience
- Prior work as a manager or supervisor
- Success with customer service
- Training in food safety
- Experience with long shifts
- Financial literacy
- Ability to keep inventory organized

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
