Description
General Description:
The Production Water-spider works to ensure that packers have all necessary materials and helps complete tasks to allow for better productivity and efficiency.
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
1. The Production water-spider is responsible for bringing packaging materials to packers & to picking carts, based on the client & order type. This includes, but is not limited to: boxes, poly mailers, packaging tape, inserts, stickers, etc
2. The Production water-spider helps clear out trash and cardboard from the production floor and individual packing stations
3. The Production water-spider is responsible for identifying packers that will be completing a cart and bringing over additional batches for packing.
4. The Production water-spider is tasked with assisting in any additional requirements prior to packing. i.e: bottle wrapping, pre-labeling, box assemblies
5. The water-spider is tasked with ordering supplies for the packaging lane, clearing out trash and empty pallets, and keeping up with the organization & safety of the packaging lane
6. The production water-spider helps with the morning set-up, before packers arrive. Ensuring that all necessary packaging materials and items are available when packers initiate their work day
7. Assists the floor when necessary with order investigations
8. Other duties as assigned by the Production AOM
Pay Rate: $18.79/hr $1.90/hr differential
Schedule: Sat-Mon 7:00AM-7:30PM

Requirements
Job Qualifications Mandatory:
1. 1-2 years of prior or similar experience.
2. Basic computer skills (e.g. personal computers, printers, email).
3. Knowledge of warehouse operating procedures and protocol.
4. Fluent verbal and written communication in English.
5. Prior experience in a distribution, warehouse, or other inventory handling environment.
6. Knowledge and ability to operate inventory control and related computer software. Actively support team concepts and effectively communicate with team members.
7. Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. High School graduate or equivalent experience.
