Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer requests.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking drink orders, and answering any questions regarding the menu.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Manage inventory by restocking supplies as needed and ensuring that all products are stored properly.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring all sales are recorded correctly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and drinks.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible serving practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience in bartending or a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices.
- Familiarity with brewing techniques and knowledge of various types of beverages is a plus.
- Experience using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is desirable.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
