Job Summary:
The Clubhouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all clubhouse operations, ensuring an exceptional experience for members and guests. This role includes managing food and beverage services, facilities, events, and staff, while maintaining the highest standards of service, cleanliness, and operational efficiency. The Clubhouse Manager plays a pivotal role in driving member satisfaction, team development, and financial success, fostering a welcoming and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
- Oversee all clubhouse operations, including dining, events, and facilities management.
- Ensure smooth daily operations and enforce club policies, standards, and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with department heads to maintain consistency in service delivery across all areas of the clubhouse.
- Conduct regular inspections of the clubhouse facilities to ensure cleanliness, functionality, and compliance with health and safety standards.
Member and Guest Experience:
- Create a welcoming environment for members and guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.
- Address member concerns and feedback, resolving issues quickly to maintain satisfaction.
- Develop and implement programs, services, and amenities to enhance the overall member experience.
Food and Beverage Oversight:
- Supervise food and beverage operations, ensuring high-quality service, menu offerings, and financial performance.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop innovative dining experiences and seasonal menus.
- Monitor inventory levels and oversee cost controls, purchasing, and vendor relations.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of staff members, including servers, bartenders, and facilities personnel.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and feedback.
- Promote a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
Event and Program Coordination:
- Support the planning and execution of events, banquets, and member programs.
- Work with the Events Manager and other teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
- Actively promote the club’s event and catering offerings to drive participation and revenue.
Financial Management:
- Assist in preparing and managing the clubhouse budget, including tracking revenues and expenses.
- Analyze financial reports to identify areas for cost savings and revenue growth.
- Develop and implement strategies to meet or exceed financial goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of leadership experience in hospitality, private clubs, or upscale dining environments.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, event management, and facilities oversight.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Proven track record in managing teams, driving member satisfaction, and achieving financial results.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and club management software.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
