Your Role : Workers’ Compensation Defense Attorney
As an Attorney in our Workers’ Compensation Defense practice , you will receive on-the-job training and mentorship while handling a variety of litigation responsibilities. Your duties include :
Case Review & Preparation : Reviewing and summarizing medical records , drafting reports, and preparing case strategies.
Court Appearances & Hearings : Attending hearings, depositions, and court proceedings to advocate for clients.
Client & Witness Preparation : Preparing clients and expert witnesses for depositions and trial testimony.
Discovery & Motion Practice : Drafting and responding to discovery requests and motions , including motions for summary judgment.
Litigation Strategy & Case Management : Handling cases from pre-trial through trial and appellate activity , with hands-on experience in litigation procedures.
What You Bring
To excel in this role, you should have :
- Education & Licensure :
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school .
- Licensed to practice law in the State of Florida .
- Legal Knowledge & Skills :
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities .
- Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills .
- Eagerness to learn Workers’ Compensation defense and develop litigation experience.
