Position Overview : The Senior Regional Manager of Operations plays a key role in executing operational priorities across the region, working closely with the Senior Vice President (SVP) and Director of Operations (DO). This position is responsible for the day-to-day management of leasing, marketing, and operational activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee operational systems, processes, and infrastructure, identifying opportunities for improvement or revision.
- Manage the daily operations of the department while balancing responsibilities across various business lines, including sales and marketing.
- Collaborate with the DO and SVP to prepare and analyze weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Assist in developing, implementing, and meeting annual operating and capital budgets and forecasts. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, analyses, and budgets.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, internal teams, and external vendors.
- Stay informed about industry regulations, trends, and technological advancements.
- Ensure all agreements and documents comply with applicable rules and regulations for each property.
- Assist the DO and SVP in compiling and delivering written and oral reports to management and the Board of Directors.
- Collaborate with sales teams to establish and achieve daily and quarterly goals.
- Partner with the Marketing Director, Regional Managers, and community managers to develop and implement innovative marketing and advertising strategies. This includes leveraging online advertising, corporate and property websites, SEO / PPC, signage, outreach, and email marketing, tailored to the property's resident profile and market conditions.
- Work with the construction department to support new project development and implement marketing and leasing strategies.
- Maintain a hybrid work schedule, with three days per week in the office and up to two days working remotely. Extended hours may be required during peak periods.
- Conduct a minimum of two site visits per property each month to monitor operations and ensure compliance.
- Provide relief management to on-site offices as needed.
