Key Responsibilities:
Lead the QA Team: Manage and mentor a team of 2 QA Analysts, ensuring best practices in testing strategies, execution, and documentation.
Test Planning & Strategy: Define and implement test strategies, ensuring comprehensive test coverage across functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
ERP System Testing: Oversee and execute testing efforts for our proprietary ERP system, ensuring stability and accuracy in inventory management, order processing, logistics, and financial modules.
Agile & SDLC Collaboration: Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Managers in an Agile/Scrum framework to integrate QA best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
Test Automation: Lead and expand our test automation efforts using TestComplete, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Defect Tracking & Resolution: Ensure rigorous defect tracking, root cause analysis, and resolution coordination with development teams.
Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in testing methodologies, QA workflows, and documentation.
Qualifications & Experience:
5+ years of QA experience, with at least 2+ years in a lead or senior role.
Experience testing ERP, WMS, or other enterprise applications (experience with proprietary ERP systems is a plus).
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including manual and automated testing.
Experience with TestComplete or other test automation frameworks.
Proficiency in test case management, defect tracking, and reporting tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, etc.).
Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with SQL for data validation and backend testing.
Experience with API testing (Postman or similar tools).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have):
Experience in the food distribution industry or other supply chain-focused businesses.
Hands-on experience with performance/load testing tools.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating QA into DevOps workflows.
ISTQB or other QA certifications.
