Job Description
The Lead Compounding Technician plays a critical role in overseeing planning, scheduling, and daily execution for the compounding/manufacture of sterile and non-sterile products in the controlled and classified areas. This includes coordinating working schedules for compounding teams, assisting compounders on batch record completion, and managing production WIP inside the cleanroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee activities including scheduling, cleaning, preparation of manufacturing hoods to perform compounding activities
- Coordinate working schedules for compounding teams that are assigned to work as per production schedule
- Assist compounders on batch record completion and accuracy of the record
- Manage production WIP inside the cleanroom and ensure continuous production/product flow
- Coach compounders to utilize correct and appropriate aseptic techniques at all times
Requirements:
- A High School diploma or equivalent
- Able to successfully complete a drug and background check
- Able and willing to walk, stoop, stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. throughout each shift, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Familiarity with and comfortable using mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets, handhelds
- 3 years of direct IV compounding experience
