The Opportunity The Digital Content Developer is a Technical Lead for QVC Digital Content Development and an important point-of-contact and subject-matter expert for digital content platforms. Includes QVC.com, eMarketing, iOS and Android phone and tablet apps along with emerging digital platforms. Reporting to the Manager of Digital Content Development, you will be a part of a part of a vibrant team who is responsbile for driving chnge on our digital platforms. Your Impact Responsible for assigned category and event content migrating across our customer platforms. Authorized to work in the Adobe Experience Management tool (AEM), creating/building, scheduling and migrating content to QVC digital platforms. Supports day-to-day content development for the complete customer funnel: Email, Homepage, Product Detail and the purchasing experience through customer cart Represents Content Development during new product deployments and functionality releases for QVC.com and apps, smoke-testing existing and new functionality to confirm that everything is working as intended. Creates targeted audience A/B tests, and maintains interim functionality utilizing third party tool, Monetate. Maintains temporary Monetate campaigns until permanent solutions are coded and prepared for future product releases. In partnership with cross-functional teams including UX and IT, enforces platform standards and processes. Supports day-to-day compliance with key performance metrics including page load and weight, URL best practices and redirects. This position has 24-hr. on-call responsibilities on a rotating basis. Responds to INRs immediately and works alone or with IT to find a solution in real time. Expert of multiple programming languages including XML, HTML5 and JavaScript. Able to hand-author XHTML and CSS to W3C standards. Advanced Understanding of markup languages including CSS and HTML, and data interchange formats like JSON. Collects and distills strategic direction and insights from key stakeholders: eCommerce, eMarketing, Copy, Design, UX, QA, UAT, Testing, and IT. Identifies root cause issues within AEM and leverages expertise to identify and prioritize high- value platform enhancements Authors detailed user documentation that serves as a how-to document for team members how to engage with AEM functionality. What You Bring Bachelor’s Degree or appropriate experience and/or certification in Computer Science, Web Development, or related fields 3 or more years’ experience in maintaining web content, e-Marketing campaigns, and native app content, preferably on an eCommerce platform. Working knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager and Monetate/Adobe Target is a plus Expertise utilizing HTML5, CSS3, and Content Management Systems Ability to hand author HTML5 and CSS3 to W3C standards Working Knowledge of Javascript, JQuery, JSON, XML, and Bootstrap Remote work is not permitted in NYC at this time. #LI-ST4 #LI-Hybrid #BMAA Join us as we enrich life’s everyday moments – including yours.
