The Opportunity Reporting into Director, Streaming Experience Programming & Content Acquisition, the Streaming Experience Associate supports the Streaming Experience, Programming and Planning teams in driving total sales and meeting audience goals across all streaming applications. Who We Are As Qurate Retail Group’s newest business unit, vCommerce Ventures is designed to accelerate our innovation in livestream commerce and establish our leadership in this space while also supporting the continued expansion of QVC’s and HSN’s linear video commerce (“vCommerce”) experiences to new audiences. vCommerce includes video-driven shopping across linear TV, ecommerce sites, digital streaming and social platforms. vCommerce Ventures brings together livestream commerce teams and initiatives from across QVC and HSN into a separate, global business unit, with dedicated marketing, business development, content development and production, programming, planning, and merchandising resources. Your Impact You will support the team through CMS maintenance for the streaming service builds of content, graphics, and copy. Coordinate media content requests with media management and audience development teams. Create requests for video on demand (VOD) content to be transcoded to Brightcove, including shows, product sells, promos, and additional short-form videos. Create requests for product sells to be edited from live show recording and close-captioned. Maintain a calendarized view of streaming service content for both short-term and long-range planning in Airtable, along with exclusive platform deals and promotions. You will support analytical reporting on a variety of metrics using Conviva data. Brainstorm and collaborate across the teams to improve trends by rethinking and testing new programming strategies. The Streaming Experience Associate presents Streaming by participating in multiple meetings and works with many departments across the enterprise in support of department and QRG goals. What You Bring Bachelor’s or University Degree, or equivalent work experience. 2 years’ Streaming Service or CMS experience. Experience understanding complex processes and information, and work in a technical, dynamic workplace. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically. Experience with new technologies and evolving media landscape and enhancing workflows. Experience managing multiple projects. Ability to multi-task and succeed in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with ever-changing priorities. For New York City based roles only: The annual gross base salary range for this $51,500-85,800. Salary ranges are general guideline only, and actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience and geographic location as well as business and market conditions.
