Your Impact
In the absence of the EHS Manager, take charge during regulatory compliance visits and manage necessary notifications to ensure full compliance with all regulations.
Collaborate with the Manager to develop and implement environmental health and safety programs, overseeing daily operations and directing group projects.
Perform regular site safety assessments, compliance audits, and job hazard analyses, providing relevant recommendations for corrective measures.
Implement annual site compliance training on critical topics like Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, and Regulated Waste Management while ensuring tracking of participants.
Oversee tasks related to industrial hygiene, including heat stress and noise mapping, aligning with site issues or broader EHS recommendations for indoor air quality.
Monitor and report on site safety indicators and EHS metrics, presenting weekly updates to the Manager and leadership to guide informed decision-making.
Handle regulated waste program requirements, including storage inspections and partnering with third-party vendors for scheduling disposal tasks.
Guide the site in incident reporting and accident investigation processes, maintaining accurate OSHA logs, and tracking related action items for resolution.
What You Bring
BS/BA in safety, environmental or other related EHS field.
2-4 years in an EHS-related field .
Knowledge in environmental and occupational safety and health regulations.
Experience with Word, Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook.
Project management skills.
Remote work is not permitted in NYC at this time.
Salary : $75,000 - $90,000
