Responsibilities:
1. NextGen System Administration:
- Administer and maintain the NextGen EHR system, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with end-users to understand workflow requirements and customize Nextech to meet specific needs.
- Implement system upgrades and patches with minimal disruption to daily operations.
2. Template Development:
- Design and develop custom templates within the NextGen system to enhance user experience and streamline clinical workflows.
- Work closely with healthcare professionals to gather requirements and ensure templates align with industry best practices.
3. SQL Query Development:
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, analyze, and present data from the Nextech database.
- Create and maintain SQL stored procedures to automate routine tasks and improve data integrity.
4. User Training and Support:
- Provide training to end-users on NextGen system features, template usage, and best practices.
- Act as a point of contact for troubleshooting and technical support for Nextech-related issues.
5. Documentation:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, customizations, and workflows.
- Develop and update training materials and guides for end-users.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a NextGen System Administrator, with expertise in template development and SQL.
