Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery to support construction and industrial projects. We do both residential and commercial projects. I am seeking an operators for an upcoming project developing a residential lot for a custom home to be built. It is a temporary position for the project at hand but could turn into a full time position.

This role requires a strong understanding of equipment operation, safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment including but not limited to tankers, front loaders, excavator, dozers, graders, and rollers
- Perform digging and excavation tasks as required for various projects.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols while operating machinery on-site.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and any maintenance performed.
- Read Plans and understand how to set grade without gps.
- Must understand drainage, footings, foundation leveling, and concrete prep
Skills
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation is essential.
- Proficiency in operating tankers, front loader trucks, roll-off trucks, backhoes, concrete mixers, cranes, water trucks, and loaders.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to heavy machinery operation.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality work.
- Read plans and be able know what to do without a set of plans
